Grooming – Lunging Seminar
TRAG is organizing a 2-day Grooming – Lunging Seminar. The Grooming Seminar addresses to everyone interested in grooming, without special knowledge or/and experience needed. The Lunging Seminar addresses to those who have basic riding skills or/and experience in sports riding.

Grooming Seminar: 24th of September 2016 (Saturday, 15:00-20:00)
Lunging Seminar: 25th of September 2016 (Sunday, 10:00 – 17:00)
Location: 10 P. Kanellopoulou Street, Goudi (TRAG premises)
Grooming Curriculum (theory + practice): Horse care, Saddling, Introduction to Horsemanship, A Strong and Healthy Horse, Horse Anatomy, Diet, Equestrian Equipment and its care, Stables facilities (10 hours practice + exams)

10 hours practice in 10 individual single hour sessions in coordination with the trainer + exams

Instructors: Katerina Theodoulou, Eleni Konstantinidi
Katerina Theodoulou is a qualified Physical Trainer by the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, with expertise in horse riding and tennis. She is specialised in horse training and she holds the license of Athlete Equestrian. On January of 2012 she continued her education by attending seminars of the HEF – FEI COURSE FOR COACHES- LEVEL 1 (HELLENIC EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION) and Training in the First Aid and the Use of AED. She is an accredited trainer from the state and she has six years of professional experience in riding schools. Now she is working in Therapeutic Riding Association (TRAG).
Eleni Konstantinidi is a qualified Physical Trainer by the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, with expertise in Horseback Riding and at Modified Physical Education for disabled people. The last three years, she is working in the field of disability, occupying mostly with people with Autism and Mental Retardation (creative occupation, swimming training and horseback riding). She has fully attended the educational program for therapeutic riding trainers by TRAG. Now she is working at Therapeutic Riding Association of Greece as a therapeutic riding trainer.
After the practice of each seminar, each participant gives an exam – Certificate is given.
