Dimitra Karouzaki,Nathalie Dannemberg,Marianna Gianneta and Angeliki Panagotopoulou have represented ΣΘΙΕ at the International Conference of Therapeutic Riding that took place in Brazil last August.

The Conference was attended by a great number of scientists specialized in Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy and they have presented studies and the results of scientific research, concerning the benefits that handicapped persons get from their association with horses.

During the Conference there have also taken place, seminars about Developmental Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, Vaulting, and Training horses.

Finally, the meeting of the International Federation of Therapeutic Riding took place and ΣΘΙΕ placed a candidateship for Greece to host the International Therapeutic Riding Conference of 2012 and it seems that quite a lot of members will favor us.
